Is Facebook safe for children? Who cares, we’re all filthy rich.
Founding member and guiding light of Facebook, Sean Parker the Napster guy, is worth an estimated 2 or 3 BILLION, and he was shown the door years ago. Now a philanthropy guy who funds various children’s charities, Sean recently mused upon the corruption of society wrought by Facebook, and his hand in it.
The former hacker freely admitted that Facebook was nothing but a HACK of human vulnerability, and he confessed that the like button is little more than a dopamine hit for attention junkies.
Whether the estimated two billion Facebook users are ready to share his insight or not is another matter entirely. The sad truth is that the Facebook generation have become conditioned already, and will probably resent being compared to laboratory rats that desperately press at levers engineered to channel their endeavours into something lucrative for Menlo Park.
Parker said quite blatantly that God alone knew what this was doing to the children who were being so conditioned. Indeed God does know, and he will doubtless burn those responsible for such depravity with hellfire.
Messenger may well a useful service, but the Orwellian content sharing juggernaut that is Facebook is just a honeypot for children and other guileless souls. Zuckerberg is luring these innocent minds into his Gingerbread house, where he then relentlessly datamines them for marketable information.
Congress ought to immediately invoke the Sherman Antitrust Act against this digital witch, and bust his trust wide open.
Full disclosure: John Miller’s IRL name is Frank Faulkner. I currently live in Australia and I write about things that concern me as a Christian, or as a cranky guy. These days I spend all my spare time defending the best (and only worthy) President of the United States since Reagan. Totally worth it. Bring back that 80s prosperity and the Moral Majority, Mr President. Christians4Trump. MAGA.
