Bieber the Believer takes me to Church – my formal apology to nice young Christian lad Justin

By John Miller

Sunday the 5th of November, 2017

How easy it is to fall into the sin of railing against fellow Christians, especially when they are Canadians.

All that easy-going tolerance…but I digress. Time to apologise like a Christian man today to another Christian man, budding young Christian and Canadian pop chanteur Justin Bieber, whose many hits I am only mostly vaguely aware of. Not that I am in his demographic, mind you.

Justin was spotted entering Hillsong Church in Los Angeles with his beau and fellow famous Christian, Selena Gomez. I have listened to some of her songs, and she has a lovely voice.

Hillsong in the United States was a seed planted by missionaries from Hillsong in Australia, whose Christian Revivalist congregations regularly pack into Church by the tens of thousands to sing Glory Hallelujah.

Justin’s pastor is NYC Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz. Something I did not know before today.

My full apology for any tongue-in-cheek remark, snarky comment, or other offense I may have offered to a young Christian. And may God forgive me too.

Just make sure you put on trousers and shirt for the wedding though.

Best of luck from your brothers in Christ living Down Under.

Full disclosure: John Miller’s IRL name is Frank Faulkner. I currently live in Australia and I write about things that concern me as a Christian, or as a cranky guy.
